Sundays AtC3 Sunderland
Each Sunday we meet as a church for our weekly service.
The service starts at 10:30am each week. Our doors are always open from 10am giving you plenty of time to arrive, grab a brew from the coffee bar and have a chat.
We’d love to welcome you!
Getting to Webster's Ropery
DRIVING
Pop the postcode in your sat nav and see you soon! The venue is just off the A1213 and there’s plenty of free parking. Able to give someone a lift? If you’re coming through town, why not arrange to pick up some of our family on the way!
WALKING
Websters Ropery is just a 28 minute walk from HILLS arts centre. Especially coming into summer, what a great way to start the day by taking a nice walk through our wonderful city. Why not take the time to pray or grab a group of friends to share the walk with?
GETTING HERE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
To get to Webster’s Ropery by public transport, take the 8 Country Ranger bus from Stand H at Sunderland Interchange and travel 7 stops (about 4 minutes) to Pallion New Road-Bridge. The 9:50 bus will get you here in plenty of time to walk and grab a coffee before we start.
You can then take the footpath down Deptford Terrace to get to you Websters Ropery. Please be aware there are a couple of big roads to cross, but there are pedestrian crossing places on both Pallion New Road and the A1231. This is about a 5 minute walk.
You can also take the 81 bus from Stand K at Sunderland Interchange at 9:58. Again, this is about a 4 minute bus ride to Pallion New Road – Bridge, then just over a five minute walk down to the Ropery.
COMING AS A GROUP?
Why not get together and share the cost of a taxi? That might work out even cheaper than a bus ticket each 🙂
What To Expect
Each Sunday, the service begins at 10:30am but our doors are always open for 10am.
Our team will be at the main doors of HILLS Arts Centre, ready to greet you and and help you find a seat.
You’ll be able to grab a brew from coffee bar and make yourself at home before the service begins.
Our services run for about 90 mins.
We start with songs that help us connect with God. Don’t worry if you’ve never heard them before. The words will be on the screen so you can join in if you want to.
You can also use the time to reflect, pray, observe, or whatever you feel comfortable doing.
After that, we’ll have some prayer or hear people share their life stories.
One of our pastors will then share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus.
We’ll then have time to connect and chat with each other after the service over coffee.

Alongside our Sunday service, we have C3 Kids for all children aged 2-10.
This ministry is packed full of games, crafts and stories to help kids meet Jesus for themselves and grow in their faith.
Check out our C3 Kids page for more info and to fill out our consent form.

If you can’t make it to church in person, we also release weekly content on our YouTube channel to recap the message and help you dig into God’s word through the week. Why not subscribe so you don’t miss a thing!
Not Just Sundays
Outside of Sunday mornings, we also gather fortnightly in homes around the city for Groups. These are the heartbeat of our church and a brilliant opportunity to connect with one another and grow in our faith as a community.
